 Who is Liza 

(Birthday Poem to a friend)


Whose toad is that? I think I know.

Her foster owner is quite happy though.

Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,

I watch her laugh. I cry hello.


Who is a BTS Army? I think we all know

She is a fan of them and only them she follow

She listens to their music and watches their every show

And oh! She also helps their Youtube channel grow


Who loves seafoods so much? I think I know

Shrimps, clams, squid, and even roe

She is also addicted to coffee, I guess we all know

Like black coffee, latte, americano, and espresso


Whose birthday today? Of course we all do know

Her name is Liza, and she has a very very strong elbow

(That is why we are here wearing black and yellow)

All I hope is for you to continue to grow

So that’s your cake, make a wish, and then blow

(So you had your cake, I guess you made a wish before you did blow)

Welcome  to my nearly daily introspection, musings, blog, and life's unfolding drama (a.k.a. my online diary) - RGO January 19, 2025:   Hi hi! Just a quick update. I'm back in the Philippines! It's already been a week since I returned. The second semester has started, and things are getting busy again. Actually, I'm in the office right now, preparing my lessons for the week. Hopefully, I can finish everything soon so I can focus on updating my research. January 6, 2025:   Happy New Year to you! How was your New Year celebration? Mine was great! Even though my family wasn’t with me during New Year’s Eve, I still had a wonderful time because I know they are doing well, and I was happy to celebrate with friends. Today marks the start of work, but since I’m not back in the Philippines yet, I’m working remotely. From Fear to Fun: My Solo Adventure in Cebu

I just want to start by saying it was supposed to be a trip with my co-workers, but because of Typhoon Gaemi, they were not able to make it to the airport, so I was the only one who went to Cebu. I am used to traveling alone, but this was my first time having a solo trip like this, including all the activities I did. I would love to do it again or have this kind of solo trip. It was super duper fun. Thanks to my aunt (TrekEarth Travel and Tours) for arranging everything for me (us, supposedly). It made my travel easier and less hassle. Of course, thank God, because everything was smooth;  He provided everything I needed to get to the airport. And  He protected and guided me throughout the travel. I truly felt His presence. Lastly, to all the guides I met, they were all kind and helpful. Day 1: Moalboal Adventures The first day of the tour started early at 4 AM when we headed to Moalboal for snorkeling with sea turtles and sardines. It took us about two hours to reach the place...
