WHY


 

Why Taiwan? A question that others usually ask

After knowing that I will study abroad for my postgrad

But my family and friends were so excited and glad

Because they know that Taiwan is not just a beautiful country but even more than that  

 

Why NYMU that is now National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University?

A university in Taiwan that is known for medicine, sciences, and technology

Another question that I usually hear because of their curiosity

And I just answer them with the reason that it offers IHP



Why International Health Program or IHP?

The question people asked after knowing my bachelor’s degree

My answer was that IHP is an opportunity

To learn things that we can do to improve the health of the people in our country

Welcome  to my nearly daily introspection, musings, blog, and life's unfolding drama (a.k.a. my online diary) - RGO January 19, 2025:   Hi hi! Just a quick update. I'm back in the Philippines! It's already been a week since I returned. The second semester has started, and things are getting busy again. Actually, I'm in the office right now, preparing my lessons for the week. Hopefully, I can finish everything soon so I can focus on updating my research. January 6, 2025:   Happy New Year to you! How was your New Year celebration? Mine was great! Even though my family wasn’t with me during New Year’s Eve, I still had a wonderful time because I know they are doing well, and I was happy to celebrate with friends. Today marks the start of work, but since I’m not back in the Philippines yet, I’m working remotely. From Fear to Fun: My Solo Adventure in Cebu

I just want to start by saying it was supposed to be a trip with my co-workers, but because of Typhoon Gaemi, they were not able to make it to the airport, so I was the only one who went to Cebu. I am used to traveling alone, but this was my first time having a solo trip like this, including all the activities I did. I would love to do it again or have this kind of solo trip. It was super duper fun. Thanks to my aunt (TrekEarth Travel and Tours) for arranging everything for me (us, supposedly). It made my travel easier and less hassle. Of course, thank God, because everything was smooth;  He provided everything I needed to get to the airport. And  He protected and guided me throughout the travel. I truly felt His presence. Lastly, to all the guides I met, they were all kind and helpful. Day 1: Moalboal Adventures The first day of the tour started early at 4 AM when we headed to Moalboal for snorkeling with sea turtles and sardines. It took us about two hours to reach the place...
