I recently traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam. The short yet incredibly rewarding trip prompted me to share my experiences and the places I visited. I arranged my flight ticket through the TrekEarth Travel and Tours. Their exceptional accommodation and assistance made the process hassle-free. They helped me secure a comprehensive package, which covered essentials such as accommodations, round-trip private transfers, a Halong Bay excursion, meals, guided tours, and entrance fees.
Upon arrival at the airport, I was warmly received by a representative who escorted me to the Lenid Tho Nhuom Hotel, where I spent the night.
On the first day, I explored the renowned old train street, making the most of the free time. The subsequent day commenced with the tour bus picking us up from the hotel and transporting us to the Tuan Chau International Port. From there, we embarked on the Le Journey Cruise for our Halong Bay adventure.
Halong Bay is renowned for its captivating landscapes that evoke images of descending dragons. It attracts a vast number of tourists annually, all eager to bask in its picturesque ambiance and breathtaking panoramas.
Our cruise experience commenced with a buffet lunch, followed by a visit to one of the awe-inspiring caves within Halong Bay. The cave's grandeur and beauty left a lasting impression, enhancing the overall experience.
Following our exploration of the cave, we returned to the cruise to change into suitable attire. Our journey then led us to a pristine beach, offering both hiking and swimming opportunities. The hiking trail, spanning a mere 10 to 15 minutes, granted us access to a vantage point that provided a panoramic view of Halong Bay's splendor. From this elevated perspective, the bay's magnificence unfolded before our eyes, adding yet another layer of wonder to our adventure.
Later, a sunset party welcomed us on the sun deck, creating a serene atmosphere. Our knowledgeable guide even demonstrated how to prepare fresh noodle rolls, adding a touch of cultural immersion to the journey. A delectable Vietnamese fine dining experience awaited us during dinner. The evening continued with a delightful round of karaoke, an opportunity to unwind and relish the camaraderie.
The subsequent day marked our final day of the trip. An early morning breakfast energized us for an exciting kayaking excursion, where we had the chance to encounter playful monkeys. The location resembled the enchanting lagoons found in Palawan, boasting breathtaking beauty. Returning to the cruise, we prepared for departure, indulging in a satisfying lunch before bidding adieu to the captivating Halong Bay.
Back in the city, my sister’s friend and I embarked on a final exploration of Hanoi, gathering souvenirs to bring back to Taiwan. The entire journey was an amalgamation of awe-inspiring moments and indelible memories. Halong Bay proved to be a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation, cementing its place as a remarkable destination.
In Hanoi's bustling, lively embrace I stood,
Amidst the chaos, in a neighborhood so good.
From there, I embarked on a journey so grand,
To Halong Bay's beauty, in Vietnam's fair land.
With karst formations that touched the sky,
And waters so calm, reflecting on high,
A poetic voyage, where dreams take flight,
In Halong's enchantment, bathed in soft light.
As the sun dipped low and stars took their place,
I found solace and peace, in that tranquil space.
In Hanoi's vigor and Halong's sweet grace,
I cleared my mind and found my happy place.
