I hate goodbyes and I'm not good at them either, but here's a poem for you:




Emely, with your spirit strong and sweet,

A journey lies ahead, new challenges to meet.

I pray for your path, safe and sound,

For health and joy to always be around.


Grateful for the laughter, adventures shared,

Memories made, for none have compared.

In friendship's bond, we've been truly blessed,

In my heart, these moments are forever pressed.


May your days be filled with success and smiles,

As you traverse life's endless miles.

And though we part, for a time or two,

I hold the hope of seeing you anew.


In God's hands, I trust your care,

I was so busy. Before I went to the Philippines, I had to prepare for a presentation. On May 31st, I presented the results of the first aim of my dissertation. It was a stressful week, but thank God I was able to share the first part of my research. After that, I went back to my country with my friend Beth to join a medical mission and tour her around the Philippines. It was another great experience with her and some friends who were my students. I really enjoyed the company and praise God for these wonderful people. I recently traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam. The short yet incredibly rewarding trip prompted me to share my experiences and the places I visited. Embracing the Journey: Overcoming Bitterness and Embracing God's Grace

Introduction: Waking up with a clearer mind, I found myself reaching for my phone to seek a glimmer of inspiration for the day (check the verse of the day that Pastor posted). Little did I know that the verse I stumbled upon would carry a profound message that would resonate deeply within me. Acts 20:24 spoke directly to my heart, reminding me of the purpose and resilience that can guide us through even the darkest times. Acts 20:24  -  However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;  my only aim is to finish the race  and complete the task  the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
